CANCELATION POLICY

Please read the following carefully. By continuing with sessions or bookings you accept and agree to adhere to this policy.

Cancellations are strongly discouraged as they interrupt the therapeutic process.

Since I make a commitment to the time we have agreed upon meeting once or twice weekly, I do charge a full fee for any missed appointments (see limited cancelation policy) unless we are able to reschedule within the same week if this is permitted by my schedule.

Sessions are scheduled once to twice weekly. Once an agreed upon time has been set, the time is saved for you unless you notify me through email, text, or voicemail that you wish to change the day and/or time.

48-Hour LIMITED CANCELLATIONS

I allow you to cancel up to four therapy sessions for any reason every year with 48 hours notice without paying the fee. If you cancel more than four sessions with 48 business hours notice in any calendar year, you will pay the full fee regardless of your reason for canceling.

Weekends do not count towards 48 business hours notice. For example, if you wish to cancel your Tuesday appointment at 1:00pm, you will need to leave me time stamped notice by Friday no later than 1:00pm. Anytime after 1:00pm sharp, will be charged as full fee.

All no shows will be charged a full fee.

THERAPIST EMERGENCIES AND VACATION TIME

If at any time I fail to be present due to illness, you will not be charged. In most cases, I will be available through teletherapy if I am unable to come in person due to an illness. You will also receive 7 days notice of my time away for vacation. I am out of the office for major holidays. If your session falls on a holiday, I would be happy to reschedule your session for another day if possible.

LATE ARRIVALS

It remains your sole responsibility to keep track of and timely attend all scheduled therapy appointments. It is your responsibility to inform if your phone number or email has changed.  If you arrive more than five minutes late for a session, this will count as a late cancellation/no show. You will have the option to reschedule if I have an opening in the same week. However, if my schedule does not allow this, the cost of a full session will be charged.

INCLEMENT WEATHER, COLD, COVID, FLU RELATED ILLNESS

I offer teletherapy to avoid any charges for cancelations or no shows.

CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION:

Any session outside of your yearly, four free session with 48 hours notice, cancellations or no shows, will be charged the full cost of a session fee. You will be charged even if the cancellation is because of illness, school, work or childcare related.* The credit card information you previously provided will be used to process this payment at the end of the day of your scheduled session. For those using an HSA card for services, I require an additional credit card to be on file, as HSA cards are not approved for late cancellations or no shows. By providing Reverie Therapy, PLLC with your credit card information or booking an appointment, you consent to this policy and you agree to not dispute any of these charges.
